Lake of the Ozarks Shootout

Lake of the Ozarks Shootout is an annual event at Captain Ron's on the westside of the Lake of the Ozarks.

The Lake of the Ozarks Shootout is the largest unsanctioned boat race in the United States.  2013 will mark the 25th Anniversary of the Shootout which began as a fundraiser for fire and rescue around the lake. The 2013 event will take place the week of August 16-25. Many events are planned for the entire week making this a truly unique fundraiser. 2012 set a record for money given away. For a schedule of events please go to www.lakeoftheozarksshootout.org

Volunteers make the shootout what it is today.  With an entire week's worth of events, more volunteers are needed each year to continue the success of this huge event.
